Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant - Darwen

Location:

Salary:

£90 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the teacher in delivering educational activities to Key Stage 2 students
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Helping to prepare materials and resources for lessons
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting back to the teacher

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level education

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Additional relevant training or certifications

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Work within a school setting
  • Opportunity to support the educational development of Key Stage 2 students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
