Job Advert: KS2 Teacher Needed – Immediate Start
Location: Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing / Potential Long-Term


A welcoming and supportive primary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a confident classroom practitioner with a passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

  • Support the wider school community and uphold school values

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching in a KS2 classroom

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A creative and reflective approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
