A 2 form entry primary school in Tameside require an experienced HLTA for a year 5 class full-time role starting in May.
- Core subject interventions with groups of 4 or 5 pupils supporting the Lower Ability, focusing on specific areas for improvement.
- The school ethos is warm and welcoming with a hardworking and focused mentally.
- The school provides plenty of opportunities for training courses; ICT courses, marking strategies, Assessing Effectively etc.
The Role:
The school in Tameside require a HLTA to work with the lower ability groups and sometimes the G and T to bridge gaps in attainment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting groups and whole class sessions when required. Confident, inspiring and a good team player, the right candidate will love working with children and strive to support them the best way they know how. The role involves working closely with the experienced class teacher to deliver and assess pupil progress and suggest opportunities to improve pupil progress.

The school is looking for somebody who is hard-working, passionate about raising pupil's attainment and works well in their friendly, sociable team. The classrooms are all eye-catching and engaging with working walls promoting independent thought through challenges and in-depth questioning. The school ethos is strongly adhered to and pupils are both polite and excited to learn while at school.
