KS2 Bilingual Primary School Teacher
Location: Mill Hill
Start Date: Easter Term

Salary: M1 - M2 (Outer London)
A reputable primary school in Mill Hill are currently looking for a French speaking Year 4 Teacher who will be able to start in the Easter Term to cover a long term sickness. The school is a bilingual school where children are taught in both French and English from the offset in joining the school. Their last Ofsted inspection they were graded 'Outstanding' due to the quality of teaching and also the schools ability to have 90% of pupils speaking French fluently by the time they reach year 3. The school is a two form entry and is partnered with a nursery school to provide stability to all students with a focus on developing character, a desire to learn and social responsibility. All classrooms are equipped with modern equipment and the children have access to a large library which is stocked termly with new recourses.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience teaching KS2 and would be happy to teach in both English and French on a daily basis. The year 4 class is well behaved and are currently on track for exceeding predicted grades set this year. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and marking class work for pupils and supporting teaching assistants so that they can successfully identify key areas that pupils may need additional support with and adequately plan tasks to aid in raising attainment.
The school gives all teachers opportunities to adapt the national curriculum in a teaching style that adheres to the learning abilities within the class. The successful candidate will also have full support from the Senior Leadership Team who operates on an open door policy. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to deliver lessons that are adaptive to all learning abilities within the class. The school ensures that pupils are taught in a safe and encouraging environment where students are actively encouraged to succeed and develop character. The school boasts a friendly and energetic school environment where both staff and students benefit from regular training sessions and extra curricular activities.
What we are looking for?
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Valid DBS Certificate (willing to apply for one)
- 1 Year experience teaching KS2
- Passionate about supporting children in primary schools
- Fluent in French
- Must have taught in the UK (essential)
- Available to start April 2018
