A Teaching Assistant opportunity has arisen at a Primary School in the Didsbury area of Manchester (M20). The role is to work in a Year 1 class as a general Teaching Assistant, assiting the Year 1 Teacher with making excellerated progress in all areas. The head teacher and senior leaders at this 'GOOD' primary school are ideally looking for an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant who will confidently be able to monitor and assess learning in line with Year 1 objectives.
This post is full time and will start ASAP. The school are looking to recruit permanently for the post so the opportunity to work onto a school based contract will be possible for the right person.
To be considered for this role, applicants will:
- Have recent KS1 experience
- Hold a level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
- Be available immediately on a full time basis
The school will offer continued support in return, along with a number of professional development opportunities and the chance to work onto a school based contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
