SEMH Higher Level Teaching Assistant

A SEMH School in Hillingdon is currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is available full time. Children who attend have been diagnosed with challenging behaviour; SEMH, ASD, PMLD, SLD & MLD.

Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and worked with children within a SEN provision/school?

Do you have experience supporting children with their classes and at points teaching on a 1:1 and small group basis?

The Successful HLTA:

• Preferably you will be a qualified HLTA OR very experienced SEN TA
• Must have worked in either an SEN School/setting
• Able to successfully de-escalate behaviour and great at building a strong rapport with young people
• Can easily commute to Hillington
• In date DBS on the update service OR able to pay for a new one ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
