*Full Time, KS1 Teaching Assistant Position Available! September Start!*

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an energetic, dedicated and passionate teaching assistant for a full time role at a primary school in the Whalley Range area of Manchester (M16). The role is to start on the 3rd of September and will run for the full academic year. The school are looking for a candidate who has recent and relevant experience supporting across KS1, has a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and is comfortable taking small groups of children for targeted intervention sessions; an understanding of the 'Letter & Sounds' phonics scheme would be beneficial but isn't essential as training will be provided by the senior leaders of the school. It is essential that candidates hold A Levels or equivalent and are available on a full time basis from September.

The role is to work at a school that was graded 'OUTSTANDING' by OFTSED at its last inspection. The school have been praised for the levels of progress that children make year on year and SLT were recognised for continued support that they offered both staff and students. The school has a community centred feel and has a 'happy & friendly' ethos. The governors and senior leaders of the school are looking for well rounded candidates to become a valued member of their team.

The school are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant for this role. Some one who is able to follow instruction but also think of their feet and use their initiative would be ideal. If you have recent and relevant school based experience and are looking for your next, full time role in KS1, then you are encouraged to get in touch for immediate consideration.
