£85 - £120 per day + Catholic CPD

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

A Catholic School located within Prestwich (M25) is seeking day to day Teacher to work within their KS1 department.

  • Ideal opportunity for NQTs to establish themselves in a 'Good' Catholic School.
  • Opportunity to secure a longer term/perm position.
  • Build experience working within the KS1 setting alongside 'Outstanding' Teachers.

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a larger than average Catholic Primary School located within the M25 area of Bury for day to day and short term cover teachers.

The school has a high demand for Experience and newly qualified KS1 teachers to cover on a day to day short notice basis.

The KS1 unit consists of three classes with up to 30 Year 1, Year2 and Year 3 pupils. These pupils are of mixed ability and require a firm but fair approach. This would be an ideal opportunity for newly qualified teachers to establish themselves within a 'Good' Catholic School. Planning, delivery and assessment will be required of all teachers alongside encouraging the pupil's development and learning on a daily basis.

The Catholic Primary School is a happy and caring school where everyone is respected and valued. Every child is treated as an individual and given every opportunity to reach their full potential. Children are provided with the very best education possible built on the gospel principles of Jesus Christ. Children experience an exciting curriculum which challenges them spiritually, socially and academically. There are strong partnerships between home and school. Learning is enhanced because these links are in place and input from parents is valued.

There is a potentially opportunity for teachers to be taken on a longer term/perm basis and have NQT induction time completed. Excellent references are essential for this role.

To apply for this position please send a fully up to date CV with all school based experience from the last 6 years detailed to Carolann in the Manchester West Primary Branch

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
