Teaching personnel are currently working closely with a Manchester primary school in the Wythenshawe, M22 area. The Manchester school is looking to recruit a teaching assistant for the year 2 class. The role would require you to support the children on a small group basis with also some 1:1 work with lower ability pupils.
The school has received the rating "outstanding" in their most recent OFSTED report and is said to offer all the pupils a caring and secure environment in which to learn. The pupils are a credit to the school and their behaviour at all times is excellent. Learning attitudes in class are very positive. Pupils feel safe.
The role will involve working with new children from various backgrounds as the school is looking to give them the best chance of succeeding. The role will involve 1:1 work with lower ability pupils. Having previous in this field is highly sought after. The school is looking for someone who will be able to support the lower ability pupils and be able to differentiate between there individual needs.
Having previous early years experience within a primary school or nursery is desirable. Being comfortable with visual learning styles that will suit the early years is key.

The school is looking to recruit the early years teaching assistant for the start of the next academic year in September so will be looking to conduct trial days before the end of the academic year.
