Job Vacancy: KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Infant School, Portsmouth
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our Key Stage 1 classes.
About the Role:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
-
Assist with delivering personalised learning activities
-
Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
-
Work closely with teachers and the SENCo to meet individual pupil needs
-
Support children’s social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience working with children aged 5-7, preferably with SEN
-
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
A commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
