Are you a passionate Science Teacher seeking a rewarding part-time role in a specialist setting? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Key Stage 2 General Science Teacher to join an inclusive and supportive school in Blandford Forum. This is a unique opportunity to teach across the primary phase in a school that caters for pupils with special educational needs (SEN), ranging from ages 5 to 16.

The school provides a nurturing environment for pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Role Details

Part-time position – allowing flexibility and work-life balance

Working hours: 8.45am to 3.45pm

Delivering engaging general science lessons tailored to learners’ abilities and needs

Supporting pupils with varied learning profiles and encouraging curiosity in the world around them

Collaborating closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN professionals
Salary Information

The full-time salary for this role ranges from £31,650 to £43,607 per annum

Part-time pay is calculated on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair and transparent compensation for hours worked

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
