SEMH Teacher (QTS) 
Blandford Forum | Term-Time | Start September 2025 
£31,650 – £43,607 FTE | Pro-Rata for Part-Time

Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs?

A rewarding opportunity awaits at a group of specialist education settings in Blandford Forum, where you can make a real difference to the lives of young people who need a more personalised approach to learning.

This is a part-time position starting in September 2025, with the option for an early start and flexibility to work full-time if preferred. The role involves working with pupils aged 3 to 19, and both primary and secondary teaching opportunities are available. Working hours are 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Your Role as an SEMH Teacher

As an SEMH teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, supportive, and adapted to meet a range of complex needs.

You will build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues, contribute to pastoral support, and promote independence, confidence, and resilience in learners who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education.

Your calm, consistent presence will play a vital role in helping students feel understood and empowered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
