One of our partner Catholic Primary Schools in Prestwich (M25) are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in their Key Stage 1 department. This role is to start January or sooner for the rest of the academic year. You will be support the classes across Key Stage 1 and taking small groups for boosters in Maths, English and Phonics.
The Bury Primary School, graded "good" by OFSTED framework, is a one and half form entry school. It has a friendly atmosphere and has an extremely supportive staff structure. The headteacher is ideally looking for a Catholic Teaching Assistant but this is not essential.
You must have at least level 2 qualification with a good amount of experience in Key Stage 1. The Bury Primary school are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who has a passion for working with children helping raising attainment. You will want to learn how to assess pupils' progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care.
You would have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in both Maths, English and Phonics. The role is to start January or sooner with trials ideally taking place ASAP.
