Key Stage 1 Teacher Opportunity

Primary School in Penketh - January 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Penketh to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher for a January 2026 start. The school is seeking a nurturing and motivated teacher who can support pupils during this important early stage of their education.

The Position:

  • Full-time teaching role within Key Stage 1.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity and confidence.
  • Support pupils with early literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum development.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to provide consistent learning experiences.
  • Create a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment.
  • Be confident supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Use positive behaviour strategies to support young learners.
  • Be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to high-quality teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
