Key Stage 2 Teacher Opportunity - Primary School in Penketh

Start Date: January 2026

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school in Penketh for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to begin in January 2026. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is keen to play an active role in pupils’ learning and development during their KS2 years.

The Role:

  • Take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class on a full-time basis.
  • Design and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support pupils’ progress across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including assessment and attainment.
  • Contribute to planning and collaboration within the KS2 team.
  • Provide additional support through small-group and intervention work where required.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a secure understanding of teaching and learning in Key Stage 2.
  • Be confident in managing behaviour positively and consistently.
  • Show enthusiasm, flexibility, and a strong commitment to pupil outcomes.
  • Be reflective and keen to develop their practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
