Job Role: EYFS Teacher – Warrington (WA2)
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026 start
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

A warm and welcoming primary school in Warrington (WA2) is seeking a passionate and inspiring EYFS Teacher to join their Nursery/Reception team. The school prides itself on nurturing children through a play-based, child-centred curriculum and is looking for a teacher who can contribute to their positive, inclusive ethos.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT with EYFS experience.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS statutory framework.
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and reflective practitioner committed to giving children the best start in life.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Framework.
  • Foster children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development through creative and purposeful learning experiences.
  • Use observations, assessments, and data to track progress and inform planning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support children’s learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to wider school life and uphold the school’s values and expectations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
