We're looking for an enthusiastic and approachable IT Technician to join a thriving secondary school and support both staff and students with their technology needs.
This role would suit someone with IT support experience, a recent graduate, someone working in media, digital technology or content creation, or an individual with transferable technical skills gained through school, college, university, customer service, retail, or a previous support role.
Previous school-based experience is not essential. If you're passionate about technology and would love the opportunity to work in a school environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day IT support to staff and students.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
- Setting up laptops, desktops, printers and classroom technology.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 and other educational software.
- Helping maintain the school's IT systems and equipment.
- Assisting with technology projects and upgrades.
- Playing a key role in ensuring technology enhances teaching and learning across the school.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
- IT support experience.
- Media, digital, creative technology or content production experience.
- Experience gained through college, university, apprenticeships or personal projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for finding solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
