Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an KS3 Intervention Teacher to join our client secondary school based in Trafford from January 2021.

As an Intervention Teacher you will be required to provide additional support to those not making expected progress in Maths, English and Science.

Most pupils that you will be providing support to are currently working at primary school levels, therefore Primary teachers and secondary teachers with experience supporting learning across all core subjects are eligible for consideration.

-          Full time KS3 Intervention Teacher position – Fixed term 12 months

-          Potential to gain a permanent position following this 

-          Delivering KS3 intervention to pupils who require additional support in core subject (Maths, English and Science)  

-          Pay in line with MPS

-          Both newly qualified and experienced teachers encouraged to apply

The Headteacher of this school wishes to appoint an Intervention Teacher to join this excellent secondary school in an intervention capacity. If you are a primary or secondary teacher not necessarily looking for full class teaching responsibilities, but are motivated by closing the attainment gap, this is the ideal opportunity for you. The incoming Teacher will be responsible for delivering tailored tuition to pupils ranging in ability across yeas 7 -9.  

Located in Trafford, the school is just a short drive from the A56. Access is straight forward to the surrounding areas and the public transport links make Manchester, Bolton, Salford and Rochdale easily accessible via the Metrolink tram and also bus routes.

The incoming Intervention Teacher will be able to provide engaging learning to all pupils no matter what ability and have a proven track record of raising attainment of lower ability pupils as well as challenging the learning of more able pupils. The successful applicant will be fully committed to taking full responsibilities on board including assisting to build resources, planning and marking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
