Position: Intervention Teacher.

Location: Bamber Bridge.

Start date: Monday 6th November 2023.

Contract type: Full time – Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:15pm (temp-perm).

Pay rate: £110 - £160 per day.

An excellent SEMH provision in Bamber Bridge are looking for an Intervention Teacher to join their team from November 2023! This school prides themselves on:

  • Helping them to overcome their behavioural difficulties.

  • Providing a positive approach to education.

As an Intervention Teacher you will be required to deliver separate personalised interventions for each individual student whilst helping to implement and follow their individual Educational Health Care plan (EHCP) and behaviour strategies. You must be confident when implementing these particular behaviour strategies and must remain calm when facing challenging behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Relevant experience supporting pupils with SEMH or similar special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
