Computing and ICT teacher required at 'good' school in Reading

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Computing and ICT to join a school in Reading in a large and developing department. ICT is taught at all Key Stages. At KS4 students all work towards a Level 2 EDCL qualification with GCSE computer science and ICT available as optional subjects, whilst at KS5 we offer both OCR GCE Applied ICT and AQA Computing at AS and A Level as well as the level 3 Cambridge Technical award in IT.

The person we are seeking will:

? be passionate about Computing and ICT and have the desire to share that passion with students;

? be an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher;

? be able to work and learn collaboratively in a large and diverse team;

? be reflective and eager to develop their teaching skills.

A highly successful comprehensive school (1700 on roll, including 360 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
