Mathematics Teacher needed for an Independent Secondary School - £140 to £230 a day - Hounslow

Full time and permanent Maths teacher role interviewing now and starting in September

About the role

  • Position available for an Mathematics Teacher with a PGCE or QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools, at KS3-5 level, is a requirement
  • Full-time role working 5 days a week; 8:30am - 3:30pm.
  • The school want to bring in teachers looking for long permanent positions
  • This independent school want to hire people who will further the Maths department
  • Teachers will be expected to plan and prepare lessons as well as marking, assessing and providing feedback on the students work.
  • Teachers who are willing and able to cover other subjects would be ideal, but not necessary.
  • The ideal candidate would be willing to participate in school activities; any experience with extra curricular events or SEN would be welcome.

About the School

An outstanding Independent school located in Hounslow is looking to hire for September vacancies. The school has state of the art facilities and specialises in Mathematics. The school is based in large, open grounds of with modern buildings.

The school are looking to hire a strong Maths teacher with experience at KS3-5 level, with one of these the position to Newly Qualified Teachers. Alongside the facilities to assist teaching the school also provide LSAs in class to ensure good behaviour and equal progress.

Ofsted have rated the school as "outstanding" and have talented and cohesive leadership. They were quote saying:

"Staff and pupils are very positive about your leadership and you have the unqualified support of governors."

"Those staff, pupils and parents who responded to the Ofsted surveys are proud of the school and its traditions; the large majority confirm that pupils are safe and happy at school."

Location

The school is accessible via Hounslow East station (8 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS (for teachers).

Graduates require a bachelor degree from an established university and some interest or a little experience working in education.

Teachers would require experience teaching English at secondary level (from KS3-KS4).

Expect an eager teacher with good behaviour control.
