We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Manager to help support our students to overcome challenges which affect their attitude to learning, behaviour and attendance.
The post holder will be based in refthe school's referral room to supervise and work with students who have been removed from lessons. Your work will focus on supporting students to complete work during their period of exclusion, re-integrate them into the classroom and implement action plans to improve their attitude to learning. The post holder will also work closely with students and their families to support whole school initiatives to promote and sustain good attendance.
We are looking for someone who has a professional and approachable manner, strong administrative and organisational skills and good awareness of how to ensure and promote the safeguarding and well-being of students. The ability to engage and communicate well with a variety of students and their families, sometimes in challenging circumstances, is an essential requirement for the role.
Candidates will have at least five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics and will have previous experience of working with students, preferably in a school environment.
The role is to start in January and will be for the full academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
