ICT Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ secondary school located near Didsbury/Levenshulme.

The school gained Ofsted ‘outstanding’ status after a period of continued excellence and is now regarded as on of the most prestigious secondary schools in the South Manchester area. The school has invested heavily in developing facilities to maintain their high standards, the ICT suite specifically has seen strong improvements with state of the art technology to help provide the highest level of learning.

The role will involve teaching a dedicated ICT timetable in line with the national curriculum to students across all year groups. The school have outlined the requirement to carry out intervention sessions, providing 1:1 and small group support for GCSE students who are falling behind their expected grades.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, with experience teaching ICT up to the GCSE level, although NQT’s with strong degrees should still apply. The school prides itself on the positive relationships built between staff and students so good interpersonal skills would be beneficial.
