Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school based in the Castle Donington area who are currently looking to recruit a ICT Teacher from September. This 'Good' secondary school are seeking an experienced teacher on a full time basis for at least 1 term (with the opportunity for a permanent contract).

The staff, students and governors have created a new strap-line for their wonderful school "proud to be here", which they feel encompasses how they feel about working at the school as they implement their mission of: "supporting students in gaining a positive outlook, shaping their futures and reaching their full potential'. It also sits hand in hand with our new values: Perseverance, Respect, Independence, Dreams and Excellence"

  • Full time ICT Teacher from September 2019
  • Must hold relevant teaching qualifications
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers

The incoming teacher can expect to join a secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcome.

Their OFSTED states, "Teaching is good and continues to improve, and as a result all groups of students make good progress and achieve well in their learning"

The responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Motivate, challenge and inspire pupils within the department across KS3 and GCSE
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of every pupil at all levels of learning
  • Have high expectations and be committed to the school values, ethos and vision
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved

The secondary school is based in Castle Donington and it is easily accessible for those living in the surrounding areas.
