A school in Trafford is seeking an ICT/Computing Teacher to teach both KS3 and KS4 ICT. Requirements for this position are as follows:
- QTS
- Strong subject knowledge, ideally up to KS5.
As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- The preparation of students for internal exams, as well as the GCSE exams in 2021.
- Providing specific individual support, both to the higher attainers as well as students who have fallen behind/are disengaged with the subject.
- Providing regular updates on progress rates to subject leaders.
- Ensuring students with SEN are effectively catered for, based on individual needs.
- Working as part of the ICT/Technology team, looking to deliver the school’s vision related to academic attainment as well as
- Applying effective behaviour management policies.
The role will begin in February 2021, and will run until the end of the academic year.
The school:
- Located close to Manchester City Centre.
- Easily accessible on public transport.
- Several motorway links close by.
