Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an ICT and Computer Science teacher on behalf of our client secondary school located in Wigan.

  • Full time position starting after the Half-term with employment till March. (Maternity cover)
  • Teaching both ICT and/or Computer Science to GCSE level
  • Ofsted graded good secondary school where pupil behaviour is identified as a particular strength within the school
  • Competitive pay in line with your teaching experience.

Due to an upcoming maternity gap within the ICT and Computing department, this school wish to recruit a member of staff who can competently deliver ICT or Computer Science to KS3 and GCSE level. The incoming ICT and Computer Science teacher will be able to consistently deliver good and outstanding practice and will be committed to taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking.

The school itself can be found on the outskirts of the Wigan LEA, this school boarders Leigh town centre and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Wigan, Salford, Bolton and Manchester via the East Lancashire road. The school currently has around 950 pupils on roll, there are a average amount of EAL pupils on roll and those who are eligible for free school meals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
