Humanities Teacher Needed in a Secondary Schools, Nottinghamshire

Are you an skilful and experienced Teacher of Humanities looking for a new position for the start of the academic year? Are you a History and/or Geography specialist in need of a new challenge?

Teaching Personnel is excited to recruit an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher, who is determined to share their passion for their subject, and help students progress within their schooling career. In this role, you will support student learning across a range of learning abilities inspiring learning and engagement. If you are a qualified teacher with experience, or an ECT who has done placements within Geography & History departments, we encourage you to apply!

Key Information:

  • Role: Humanities Teacher
  • Location: Nottingham & Surrounds
  • Duration: Full Time
  • Start: 4th of September

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold the relevant qualification. (QTS or ECT)
  • Have experience and knowledge of planning and delivering lessons within a classroom environment.
  • Committed to providing a high level of education, that can challenge the students’ knowledge and skills.
  • Encourage and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to encourage student engagement and progression.
  • A child only DBS. (TP can provide assistance)
  • 2 references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
