Job description


Humanities teacher required for an mixed secondary school based in Portsmouth. You will be teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, and Geography at Key Stages 3 in a strong Humanities department. In addition you will be required to work within their SEN Nurture unit to deliver Humanities to small group sizes. This position will be starting ASAP on a full time basis. They are looking to take on a permanent member of staff. The school has a great reputation for CPD and working collaboratively with their Academy trust to ensure progress is made and that the school continues to improve in all areas. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
