History teacher (Northampton)
Are you an experienced History teacher looking for a new position? Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside an academy within a successful trust who is seeking a teacher of History to join them in September 2019. The school were judged to be 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection and pride themselves on the ambitious, positive learning environment they create for students. The achievement of students is a result of a varied curriculum which allows all students to achieve success in their studies. History is a popular choice among Key Stage 4 and 5 students and the successful candidate will be teaching History to GCSE and A Level groups on a full time basis. This role is expected to last until the end of the academic year, if not longer and could potentially be permanent for the right candidate. Fully qualified teachers, newly qualified teachers and unqualified teachers are welcome to apply for this role - however prior experience teaching History is expected. You must be passionate and knowledgeable about your subject with the ability to teach consistently at an outstanding level. You will be self motivated and able to motivate others to succeed; lessons should be engaging and behaviour should be managed effectively.
