We are working with our partner school who are looking for a successful History teacher to join their passionate department.  The correct applicant will be someone who is an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious practitioner. You will work across all year groups and have the opportunity to support a broad programme of extra-curriculum activities. This role is permanent, and will be paid to your MPR/UPR GBP24373 - GBP41635

This position is to start from 27/04/2020.

The post is suitable for a new qualified teacher and they will aid you on your induction year with a supporting faculty and plenty of shielded time to ensure you can keep up with the induction process.

The school would also be interested in a teacher who will be looking to make the jump to head of department in the next few years, this will be important to ensure that the faculty can continue to grow and thrive!

We are looking to appoint a teacher who will:

  • Be an excellent practitioner with good subject knowledge up to GCSE level in History and other subjects.
  • Engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels.
  • Be a committed member of the department
  • Presence, dynamism, a good sense of humor and a level of approachability
  • A strong track record as an outstanding teacher of History
  • Qualified teacher status with a relevant degree
  • An excellent attendance and punctuality record
