History Teacher - Middlesbrough Secondary School 

Are you an History Teacher focused on your next challenge? 

The Head Teacher of a successful Secondary Academy seeks to appoint an History teacher from January 2021.  This temporary position is initially a two term maternity cover, although the Head Teacher has inidicated there may be a permenant position in the next academic year for that a candidate that excels over the temporary period. The teacher you are covering will be returning however due to expansion in the department, there was may a vacancy. 

The Academy is situated within Middlesbrough and has been awarded a 'Good' OFSTED grade following inspection in 2019. The Academy is part of a Multi Academy Trust with an excellent reputation.

To be considered for this post you will have recent experience of teaching History to GCSE on the AQA sylabus. The successful History teacher will be someone that undertakes their own CPD and seeks innovative ways to engage pupils at all times.
