Secondary school situated in North Manchester looking to appoint History teacher for permanent vacancy in September.

Teaching Personnel are working alongside our partner secondary school to secure a History teacher for an open gap within their Humanities department from September 2019.

  • September 2019 start, full time History teaching post

  • Earn up to £39,406 per annum, dependant on experience
  • Excellent facilities within modern secondary school
  • Supportive Faculty lead and welcoming department

Whilst working at our client secondary school, the successful History teacher will work alongside a number of experienced Humanities practitioners in supporting the delivery of History lessons for the upcoming academic year, along with ensuring those sitting end of year examinations are well prepared to achieve their potential. The post will be a full History timetable in which the successful History teacher will be responsible for teaching across Years 7 - 11 following the AQA curriculum. Whilst behaviour is good at the school, the school will want applicants to have a firm approach to classroom management and the ability to build rapport with students.
