Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a History Teacher for a Secondary School in Northamptonshire!


Teacher of History (Humanities)
 Location: Northamptonshire
 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
 Salary: M1 – M9
 Start Date: September 2025
 

Teaching Personnel is working with a highly successful and community-focused secondary school to recruit a passionate and committed Teacher of History to join a thriving Humanities faculty from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.


 Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented and engaging History teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and potentially A-Level. The ability to teach an additional Humanities subject (e.g., Geography, RS, Sociology, Politics) would be a distinct advantage. You'll be joining a well-resourced department with a track record of strong student outcomes and a collaborative approach to curriculum development and pedagogy.

 Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in History (ability to teach another Humanities subject is beneficial)

  • Has strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting students to achieve their full potential
  • Is a team player with the energy and drive to contribute to whole-school improvement
