Job description

Do you have a passion for history are you willing to inspire next group of students and explore the past with them?

Teaching personnel is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic history teacher to join a Secondary school in Daventry area of Northampton.

This is a full time position 

Start date - September 2025

 

About the role

We would like you to engage our students and spark their curiosity.

See how the past is relevant today.  

Allow the students to debate and challenge ideas using a wide range of evidence.

Have a passion for all areas of History from the History of Northampton to the African Kingdoms and the American Civil Rights Movement.

Be teaching Key stage 3 and 4.

This is a position in the Secondary sector in Daventry.

This is fast paced secondary school 11-16.

You will have a supportive team who will help you settle in to the school successfully

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
