Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time position starting in November 2026.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with class teachers, you will deliver interventions, lead learning activities, and provide targeted support that positively impacts pupil outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities and support high-quality classroom teaching.
• Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds an HLTA qualification or has substantial experience in a similar role.
• Has previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Takes a proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils.
• Is confident working with children across a range of ages and abilities.
• Has a genuine passion for helping young learners succeed.
