A Primary school in St Austell are currently looking for a HLTA to work on a full time basis, starting in January.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven and looking to develop a career in education. You will need to be patient, empathetic and most of all motivated to encourage the development of children.

You will predominantly be working with small groups of children or 1:1, under the direction of the class Teacher. You will be supporting the core primary subjects and promote a safe and nurturing environment for the students. You will be joining a community of staff who are dedicated to transforming education within both a mainstream and SEN setting. What we are looking for:

We are looking for experienced TA’s or qualified HLTA’s who would love a longer term role within this school.

You will need:

Strong Maths and English skills – GCSE level of above

A qualification for a TA or HLTA – level 2 minimum

Experience of working within a school setting – 3 months

Experience with Special Educational Needs – In or out of school setting

A creative approach to learning

Strong communication skills – With parents, teachers and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
