Teaching Personnel are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to join the outstanding maths department at a high-achieving high school in Great Barr. This role is to start in September 2023.
As a Maths Teacher, you will have good knowledge of the current National Curriculum to plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and independent learning. You will provide regular and consistent feedback on assessments and marked work whilst setting appropriate targets that encourage and motivate learners to achieve new learning goals. As the class teacher, you will adhere to the schools’ standards of discipline, including punctuality, homework, behaviour, and standards of produced work. Working under the guidance of an excellent senior leadership team and head of Mathematics, you will contribute to the positive learning experiences of students.
What you will need:
- To be pro-active and confident in teaching KS3 and KS4 level Mathematics.
- Knowledge in effective classroom pedagogy to drive attainment levels in Maths.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Professional references covering the last two years of employment.
Highlights of this role:
- £28,000 - £43,685 per annum in line with the Teacher pay scale (M1-UPS3).
- Full-time, September 2023 start.
