Teaching Personnel are the sole provider of supply requirements for The Astrea Academy Trust. The Astrea Academy Trust is a 26 school strong Multi Academy Trust with 5 academies in Cambridgeshire. If you are looking to work in a forward-thinking, aspirational multi academy trust then apply now!

In partnership, we are seeking experienced and newly qualified secondary specialist teachers with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to work across the 5 Astrea schools in Cambridgeshire. We have a variety of positions available from September including general supply (Day to Day) teaching, interventions and long term positions.

Due to high volumes of work from September, we are able to offer a Guaranteed Work & Pay Scheme to a select number of teachers who would like to work in Astrea Academy Trust schools.

The Successful Applicants Will:

  • Demonstrate high quality practice with the ability to deliver exciting and engaging lessons covering the national curriculum.
  • Adopt the core values of the Astrea Academy Trust (Responsibility and Leadership, Enjoyment and Innovation, Aspiration and Development, Collaboration and Inclusion).
  • Be resourceful, engaging and passionate individuals with the ability to motivate and provide each child with the highest quality of education.

The Ideal Astrea Teacher Will Be:

  • An enthusiastic and resourceful individual – ensuring they are planning (long-term only) and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Willing to undertake CPD (Continual Professional Development) with Astrea Academy Trust senior leadership team.
  • Fully-committed to raising standards and attainment through high quality teaching.
  • Experts in their specialist subject, with excellent knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
  • Flexible to work across any of the 5 different schools within Cambridgeshire (day to day assignments).
