Graduate Teaching Roles in Manchester
Are you a recent graduate or soon to graduate this academic year?
Do you have a desire to work in education in the future?
We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic graduates in Manchester for a number of different roles, working on a flexible basis and gaining experience while earning a weekly wage. You will be working alongside experienced teaching insuring that you have full support while gaining valuable experience inside a classroom in a secondary school environment. You will be working with a wide range of age groups including new starter year 7's as well as year 11 students preparing for their GCSE exams. This would be a very exciting opportunity for anybody looking to gain experience in schools or for anybody considering taking a PGCE or similar teacher training programme.
- Earn up to £300 a week - depending on role and responsibilities
- Gain experience while you study or before you embark on a teaching training program
- Work on a flexible basis on a schedule that fits you
We have a number of different roles available for recent graduates, depending on your aspirations and the type of role in a school that you wish to gain experience. These include:
Cover Supervisor - covering a teachers absence, managing the classroom and insuring that all work set by the absent teacher is completed to a good standard. This is a very rewarding role where you can quickly gain very valuable experience. You will learn how to effectively manage classroom behaviour without the added stress of creating lesson plans and marking work.
Teaching Assistant - working alongside teachers helping to assist in the effective teaching of students. This will include helping students with any difficulties they have in completing the work and providing support and encouragement to help them reach their potential and raise confidence.
Behaviour Support - helping students who have behaviour problems and are close to being excluded from mainstream education. This is a very rewarding role which will require you to work with pupils within lessons as well as on a 1:1 basis as you help to improve their behaviour and reduce their risk of being excluded from school.
Learning Support - working closely with students who may struggle in class due to any SEMH needs and helping raise levels of focused learning in lessons. Another very rewarding role which involves working in class with pupils as well as on a 1:1 basis and reporting to SENCO about progress being made.
If you are a recent graduate, looking to gain experience in a secondary school environment then please reply to this advert with a cover note and CV.
