Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of Secondary schools in the St Helens area who seek to hire graduate teaching assistants for their support team on a full time basis. The post of Graduate teaching assistant will involve working with children who are under achieving and lacking confidence, additionally students may have SEN and challenging behaviour. At this time of year there is also a high demand for day to day teaching assistants so if you are available 3 days or more per week between 8.30-3.30pm, please contact us.

Applications are welcome from English, Maths or Science Graduates of all backgrounds, previous experience as working with children or vulnerable adults is not essential but preferred. If you are in the process of applying for teacher training or have a place secured for 2019/20 this opportunity to work as a graduate teaching assistant would be ideal preparation for you.
