A fantastic school in South Leeds, Holbeck are seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team!


*Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant for South Leeds, Holbeck
*Long-term, full-time role lasting the whole academic year!
*Minimum 2:1 graduate for Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant position
*Experience supporting pupils in a primary setting advantageous!
*Competitive Rates of Pay

The ideal Graduate:

A 2:1 Graduate in any discipline with a strong academic background. Experience for this role is essential. The school are looking for someone with the motivation and the passion to work in Primary settings and potentially go onto teacher training!

Responsibilities of the Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant:

*Working alongside the class teacher to ensure pupils are focusing and on-track during lessons
*Leading 1:1 and intervention group sessions with pupils who are both under-achieving and high-achieving
*Act as a positive role model school wide and provide support in other year groups when necessary
*Providing general support in marking/setting homework, creating displays and preparing lesson resources.

This OFSTED rated 'Good' school are looking to meet the perfect candidate to start working this January! You will join an existing team of supportive staff who will provide regular training and in-house support to make sure all staff are developing professionally.
