Teaching Personnel are seeking a number of graduates to support a number of our partner secondary schools in Oldham as a Teaching Assistant from September 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, particularly for those that are considering a PGCE or Teacher Training course in the future.

• Full time graduate Teaching Assistant role for 12 months

• Paid up to £1200 a month for the duration of the placement whilst gaining essential and invaluable experience as a teaching assistant

Teaching Personnel are the market leader of education recruitment and work closely with a number of our partner secondary schools across Oldham and Rochdale including Chadderton, Failsworth, Uppermill and Hathershaw.

Successful candidates will take on a variety of responsibilities within our partner school, whereby you will be required to support pupils within your subject specialism department. This will be a full time role within an allocated school in North Manchester (Oldham or Rochdale) where you will undertake a variety of tasks and activities that will offer you a good understanding of working within secondary education. A significant proportion of the role will also benefit your subject knowledge as you will focus on raising pupil attainment, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, covering classes, assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and delivering small group intervention sessions.
