Graduate Teaching Assistant positions available in Brent, North West London - £70 to £85 a day

Core Subjects needed!

Learning Support Assistant roles are also available in Wembley, Islington and Harrow.

Full time Support Staff positions beginning in September, with interviews and trials this week and next.

There are outstanding schools looking to hire Graduate Teaching Assistants who will be able to support students in class (ideally core subjects). You will be directed by the Head of Department and the SENCO, supporting students from year 7 through to year 13. Experience helping children with SEN is not a requirement, however it would help your application.

There will be opportunity to take on added responsibilities such as covering for supply, tuition, intervention and potentially teaching.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a degree in a core subject
  • The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check.
  • Proof of career history from the last 6 years.
  • Able to provide 3 career related references.

The positions would suit someone with a recent degree and strong A Levels. You will experience GCSE and A Level teaching so this role would be ideal for anyone looking to progress into teaching in the future. You will support in class but also work with students in small targeted intervention groups.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioners and team players, who enjoys working with young people, has a desire to contribute to the development of the school.
