If so, then Teaching Personnel are recruiting Graduates for several Graduate Teaching Assistant positions that are set to commence in the New Year.  

  • Full time Graduate teaching assistant positions
  • Pay ranges from GBP1000-1200 a month
  • Opportunity for those interested in a teaching career.

Due to the current and ongoing pandemic there is currently a high demand for Graduate teaching assistants to work across a number of excellent client schools in the Wigan area.

We are looking to fill a number of vacancies as soon as possible and are looking for highly motivated and bright teaching assistants that can help raise teaching standards in school and are really looking to make a mark. This is a good opportunity to get your foot in the door with some excellent schools and build your confidence in the education system

What does the role involve?

  • You will be supporting pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies
  • Provide KS3 and GCSE tuition sessions across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and Humanities
  • Lead small classes and deliver pre set revision resources
  • Track and monitor the progress made by pupils within sessions and feedback to senior management

This is a perfect opportunity to gain key experience in schools and will prepare you for pretty much anything that a PGCE can throw at you. The successful candidates will have aspirations to complete a PGCE in the future and will be comfortable leading small groups of students of mixed abilities. There are strong transports throughout Bolton and to the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Wigan, Preston and Chorley.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
