Graduate Teaching Assistant

If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for an ambitious, confident, hard working Graduate to work in our client's secondary school. The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will allow you to gain teaching experience whilst learning on the job. The secondary school will offer you support throughout you're your time at the school, offering CPD course, a range of roles to gain different experiences and continuous on the job training.

  • The Teaching Assistant roles you will have the opportunity to do will be;
  • General classroom support
  • Special educational needs support
  • Behaviour support
  • One to one and small group tuition
  • School holiday tuition

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is perfect for graduates who are looking to make the most of their specialist subject knowledge. You will have the opportunity to reflect your knowledge you have learnt at university onto young students, inspiring them to achieve their academic goals.

With the new academic year approaching the Headteacher at our client's secondary school is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant, to add extra support in September. The Graduate Teaching Assistant role is for the first term of the academic year, with the opportunity of gaining a permanent position for the year.

  • Located in Macclesfield, in the south of Manchester
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis (£259 - £319)
  • Working in a mixed secondary school

The Secondary school looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their students in September is located in Macclesfield just off the A523. Being close to a public transport link, it easy to access the school from Manchester Piccadilly.
