Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel has recently been approached by a secondary school located in Wigan, in order to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team. This Graduate Teaching Assistant position is for a full time, ongoing position starting after the May half-term and continuing until summer.

The secondary school is located in a rural area of Wigan however is still easily accessible, and a short drive from the M6. The school is also accessible via public transport, with direct links from Wigan centre, as well as good links from Manchester city centre. The school has a strong focus on the training and development of their teachers, with access to CPD Training every half term.

In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was graded ‘Good’ in all areas. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be reporting directly to the SENCO in school who is highly experienced and supportive. The successful Teaching Assistant will develop good behavioural management skills when working with small groups of pupils.

This position presents a great opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive and dedicated team of Teaching Assistants.
