Graduate Teaching Assistant

A client school in the Longsight area of Manchester (M12) are seeking a graduate teaching assistant to join their dynamic KS2 team. The role is to begin as soon as possible with the potential to run until the end of the academic year. This two form entry primary school was rated 'GOOD' at its last OFSTED inspection and are aspiring towards 'OUSTANDING'. They are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant who can encourage learning across KS2 to help raise attainment across all subject areas.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work in Year 4 as a general teaching assistant, assisting the class teacher with the day to day runnings of the classroom. They will be required to support children's learning in all areas, following the KS2 National Curriculum and direction of the class teacher. The ideal candidate will be required to run small group intervention sessions to lower achieving children to raise attainment in core subject areas.

• A degree in a relevant field
• Experience working with children

The successful Teaching Assistant will be dedicated to influencing the learning of young people and will be passionate about education.
