Are you a graduate looking for work within the Trafford area?

Are you available for work from January?

Teaching Personnel are working with a multi-academy trust encompassing a number of secondary schools in the area; who are looking to recruit a graduate who can fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant. The successful graduate will be supporting students within the classroom as a general TA with the opportunity to support within a specific subject area depending on the degree studied. The support staff at this secondary school in particular (you will be posted at one school only) are very supportive and will provide on the job training and development.

The school are ideally looking for a Trafford based graduate (Sale, Altrincham, Stretford or Trafford Park) that can start with them in January but if you are available sooner then please highlight this on your application.

Key aspects of the Graduate Teaching Assistant position:

  • Pay will be dependent upon experience but range between GBP1300 - GBP1400 per month
  • Opportunity to gain more experience and assist at a supportive secondary school in the Trafford area
  • Graduate TA required on a full-time basis starting on Monday 4th January

As part of this Teaching Assistant role, you will provide small group intervention, working with identified students in supporting them with relevant subject material. There will the chance to work with students of all ages and ability, including KS3 and KS4 (years 7 – 11, aged 11 – 16). If you have any specific experience tutoring or in supporting young people, please highlight this on your application and CV as this will be highly desirable to the school.

This multi-academy trust has a number of schools within it serving many of the areas in Trafford and Greater Manchester. This particular school is situated in Trafford itself making it very easy to access for any graduate who drives or for those on public transport. The school is set in very pleasant residential surroundings and is considered a reputable school in the area of Trafford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
