Are you a graduate looking to start your career in education?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting graduate teaching assistants for our client schools in the Nantwich area.

In a graduate teaching assistant role, you will be required to support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering learning resources, adapting materials to suit the unique learning needs of pupils, and contributing to the organisation of a safe classroom environment. You will also be assisting pupils with special educational needs such as Autism, SEMH and developmental disorders who require extra provision with academic and social development, whether this be one-to-one or in small group interventions.

Our client schools have excellent SEN departments which support pupils of all abilities through inclusive practice. They require graduate teaching assistants who are passionate about improving learning outcomes for pupils.

This position would be perfect for a dedicated Psychology or Education graduate looking to gain experience in an education setting.

Requirements for this role:

  • Must have a DBS certificate on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
  • Must be able to provide two recent professional references.
  • Passionate individual with good knowledge of SEN.

  • £1540 - £1800 per month paid through PAYE.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
