Graduate Teaching Assistant – Altrincham

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a large Altrincham based secondary school for a high level graduate to join their support team. The role is set to start September 2021 as a full time, permanent position.

As a teaching assistant you will be supporting both mainstream and SEN lessons with 1:1 and small dedicated intervention. Working directly under the SENCO you will be working with outlined students who may have SEN needs such as ASC, dyslexia or ADHD, as well as supporting the main class teacher with general TA duties.

• Full time position starting September 2021
• Pay between GBP1200 - GBP1350 per month
• Work in a large Altrincham based secondary school

The ideal candidate will be educated to a 2:1 or above, looking to pursue a career in education, this role giving you the perfect opportunity to gain in school experience before taking up a PGCE. You will preferably have teaching assistant experience but any youth work, sports coaching or tuition experience is also highly beneficial.

The role will be for immediate start, although it is subject to a DBS check, right to work UK authorisation so relevant documentation must be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
